Description
It’s as easy as 1 2 3
- Cut the weed down to about 50mm above the ground and apply immediately
- Take your bottle in hand and holding it upside down, gently squeeze a layer of the green gel onto the whole surface of the cut stem and some of the surrounding bark
- Wave your weeds goodbye
Try using a little of the MetGel with Bamboo Buster or Picloram if you know that particularly tough weed is really hard to deal with.
- Also effective on other plants such as Chinese Privet and Rhamnus (Evergreen Buckthorn), that are more resistant to Glyphosate.
- An effective weedkiller when and where you want it, the silver bullet of weed control.

Transform challenging areas overrun by stubborn weeds like ginger, agapanthus, and arum lilies into pristine landscapes. Take charge of your outdoor spaces with this powerful, targeted solution that puts you in control of weed management. Whether you’re a professional or a dedicated gardener, MetGel empowers you to reclaim and perfect your environment, all while avoiding glyphosate. Because we have no surfactant in the product those possible harmful effects on geckos are avoided and the gel’s toxicity is kept to an absolute minimum. Of course, this is vital when you’re working in sensitive conservation situations and with environmentally conscious customers.
Ineffective on solanaceae species such as wooly nightshade or some grasses. Used on moth plant, paste the stems with MetGel, especially if you can’t get to the pods, as this will reduce the viability of seeds. Metsulfuron travels through soil in moving soil water affecting non target plants and you are advised to take great care to avoid spillage when used anywhere near water courses.
We are always happy to talk to you about your particular project. If you’re a conservation group we offer discounts. We understand conservation work and environmental restoration and give a personal service that you won’t find with big business. Simply contact us to find out more.
PLEASE allow 10 working days for delivery as we make it fresh to ensure maximum shelf life for you.
